How to set up a Christmas photo booth at home

  1. Pick a spot with a simple backdrop: the tree, a wall of string lights or a red or green sheet.
  2. Stand the iPad or laptop at eye level about six feet from where guests will pose, and plug it in.
  3. Open this page, allow the camera and type your party name, like "Holiday Party at the Smiths".
  4. Put out props: Santa hats, reindeer antlers, ugly sweaters, candy canes.
  5. Guests tap Start, pose for four photos, pick a frame and scan the QR code to take it home.
