About The Party Cam

The Party Cam makes free photo booth apps for parties that run in a web browser. The first one started as a photo booth built for a Halloween party in October 2026: an iPad on a stand, a 3, 2, 1 countdown, four photos and a themed photo strip. It worked well enough that we put it online for anyone to use.

Who makes it

The site is built and written by The Party Cam Team. We test frames and changes at tablet, phone and laptop screen sizes before they go live. The standards we hold ourselves to are in the editorial policy.

What happens to your photos

The booth takes photos with your device camera and builds the photo strip on the device itself. The four raw photos never leave it. When a guest reaches the share screen, only the finished strip is uploaded so they can scan a QR code or email it to themselves. Strips sit under private links that are not listed anywhere, and every strip is deleted after 30 days. Guests can also skip that and save straight to their device.

How the site is paid for

Right now it is not: every frame is free and there are no ads or affiliate links.
